Consent

Consent means giving permission for something to happen or agreeing to do something and being comfortable with that decision. Consent is a very important thing as it means that everybody is free to say no if they’re not ok with something happening to them. Consent is an essential part of healthy relationships and it is yours.

You can find out more about Consent at the Disrespect NoBody website, including how to recognise when consent is and is not given.

There are lots of videos online about consent and what it is:

  • Consent – It’s Simple as Tea (video on YouTube)
