Further courses will be launched as soon as they become available – watch this space.
Our Training Programme is underpinned by the DSCP Training Strategy and is designed to support commissioners and practitioners to embed good practices in relation to the safeguarding of children and young people in County Durham. Download a copy of the Training Strategy.
Confirmations
Confirmations will be issued within 2 weeks prior to the Training course and will contain an MS Teams link to enable you to access the session along with any pre-reading material/pre-learning requirements. You will also receive a reminder email 2 weeks prior to your confirmed course running.
Please note training now runs on a first come first served basis.
Fees
Private Organisations will be charged £30 per course per person. There is an expectation that participants commit to complete the full course. A certificate of attendance is only issued once pre-learning and evaluation have been completed and submitted. If these haven’t been completed within 8 weeks of the course date you will be charged a non-completion fee of £10.
Please note there is a late cancellation fee of £5 if a course is cancelled within 5 working days of it running.
