If you or someone you know is worried about sexual abuse, there are people who can help you. You should talk to a grown up that you trust and ask for help.
What is Sexual Abuse?
Sexual Abuse involves being forced or controlled to take part in sexual activities that you don’t want to do. It doesn’t always mean that the other person is using violence. It might be that you are being made to watch sexual images, pornography, or films that you don’t want to watch. It might be that you are having photographs taken or video made of your body and you don’t want that to happen.
It might be that you are being sexually abused by an adult in your life or by another child that you know or even the person that you are in a relationship with.
